Bentley Be Inspired Awards for Excellence in Infrastructure – call for 2015 entries

Global program launches for 2015 to celebrate BIM advancement in the design delivery, maintenance and operation of infrastructure projects.

All users of Bentley Systems software are now invited to submit entries to the 2015 Be Inspired Awards program which recognises excellence and innovation in the design, delivery, maintenance of the world’s infrastructure.

Winners will be selected across a range of 18 sector and activity categories by an independent team of industry expert judges based on each entry’s ability to showcase “BIM advancements” through:

  • depth of information modelling, for better asset performance, and/or
  • breadth of information mobility, for better project performance.

“Win or lose, every project nominated is acknowledged across the broader infrastructure community," Chris Barron, Bentley Systems.

The top three finalists chosen in each Be Inspired Awards category will win a trip to London to attend, as a guest of Bentley Systems, the Year in Infrastructure 2015 Conference, which will once again be held in the Hilton London Metropole from the 3rd to 5th November

Finalists will present their projects to the judges, delegates and the media gathered for this interactive event after which the overall winners will be chosen and then celebrated at a gala awards presentation dinner.

“It’s time once again for our users to review their project achievements over the past year and select the most extraordinary for submission to our 2015 Be Inspired Awards program,” said Chris Barron, Bentley vice president, corporate communications.

“Win or lose, every project nominated is acknowledged across the broader infrastructure community with the full support of Bentley’s global marketing team,” he added. “The project work of finalists gains additional exposure through presentations on a global stage at the Year in Infrastructure Conference in London.

All Bentley users are invited to enter their projects in the Be Inspired Awards program, no matter what phase the project is in – preconstruction/conceptual, design, construction, or built.
