Shan Li joins Sweco in London as new transport modeller

Engineering, environment and design consultancy Sweco has appointed Shan Li as new principal transport modeller to its London transportation team.

The appointment further enhances Sweco’s transport modelling capability in England and Wales following on from the recent appointment of two new transport modelling technical directors.

Li joins Sweco at the company’s London office and brings with her more than nine years’ experience in both strategic and micro-simulation modelling, including expertise with Saturn, CUBE, Paramics and Tuba economic assessments for a variety of transport schemes and clients.

Sweco’s transport team is currently working on a number of high profile projects including the A96 in Scotland and the M27/M3 Smart Motorways project in England.

Commenting on Li’s appointment, Karl Jarvis, technical director in Sweco’s transportation team, said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Shan to the transport team at what is a very exciting time for the business. To have someone with her calibre and experience further enhances our existing service and enables us to support the delivery of major projects in the future.”

Commenting on her appointment, Li said: “I am delighted to have joined Sweco’s transport team as it grows and expands its transport offering. I look forward to contributing to the enhancement of the company’s industry-leading reputation, professionalism and expertise.”
