Former Skanska managing director Cameron Foley has left the company after almost 30 years service to join the construction business consultancy Invennt in a new role of chief operating officer.

Foley brings extensive senior management experience at Skanska and Taylor Woodrow to Invennt and will add valuable leadership to the company’s board during a period of rapid growth for the company. 

As COO, Foley will lead operations and ensure operational excellence across the business, helping Invennt to continue to realise its mission to create value through construction. 

Commenting on Foley’s arrival, Invennt director Tim Fitch said: “Cameron is a seasoned and trusted leader who consistently delivers results. He is uniquely qualified to drive our strategy and help meet our objectives and I am confident that he will further accelerate the growth of the business and take our operations to the next level.”

Prior to joining Invennt, Foley was managing director of Skanska’s building division responsible for major public construction projects and a member of the senior management team of Skanska UK. Prior to this he was managing director of Skanska’s specialist foundation contractor, Cementation and was operations director at SRW Engineering Services. 

Invennt is a management consultancy that works exclusively with construction and engineering businesses. The company was set up by former Taylor Woodrow/Vinci executives Brendan Morahan and Tim Fitch in 2011. Foley has spent most of his career at Skanska and related companies but spent a year away at Taylor Woodrow with Morahan and Fitch in 2008.
