What does the future of infrastructure, BIM and project collaboration look like?

Keith Bentley, CTO and founder of Bentley Systems to deliver keynote at Year in Infrastructure in November.

The future of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and project collaboration across infrastructure will be discussed and explored at November’s Year in Infrastructure conference in London.

In a special future thinking session at the conference, Keith Bentley, chief technology officer and founder of infrastructure software business will provide a rare insight into the development of construction modelling software and how the future will look.

“I will be talking a little bit about what has happened over the last 30 years and what might happen over the next 30 years,” he explains in his trail for the session. I look forward to seeing you [at the conference], to learning about what you do with our products and finding out what we can do for you in the future.

Bentley will lead series of keynote presentation looking into the future of Building Information Modelling at the Year In Infrastructure conference in London which runs from 4 to 6 November.

As the firm celebrates its 30th year delivering software solutions to the industry, he will be joined by chief executive Greg Bentley and chief operating officer Malcolm Walters to bring the industry together, share learning and map the future direction for modelling and collaboration software.

The event will also explain, celebrate and reward some of the best design and construction projects now being driven using BIM tools around the world with many of the project teams flying in to demonstrate and answer questions on their work.

“Each year we ask our users to self-nominate projects to win one of 25 awards and each year we get 300+ nominations from all over the world,” explained Malcolm Walters. “Our juries select three finalists in each category and we bring them together to explain their work in front of their peers. If you are involved in building our world you should attend.”
