Cedrec Information Services has become part of Barbour EHS, a provider of regulatory information, guidance, standards and resources.

The move follows the acquisition of Cedrec by Barbour’s parent company, Marlowe, for £3m in 2022.

Headquartered in Gateshead and established in 1994, Cedrec is a digital provider of consolidated environment, health and safety (EHS) legislation and legal register consultancy.

It has more than 1,000 clients on its online subscription service enabling people to keep on top of their health and safety, environmental, energy and planning compliance.

Barbour was established in 1957 and is a provider of guidance, legislation and standards to support organisations with their EHS compliance. 

This includes an online authoritative library which is updated daily, ready-made and editable communications tools, and an updated legal register facility that enables organisations to put important compliance frameworks in place. 

Barbour covers health and safety, environment and energy, estates and facilities management, fire safety, mental health and wellbeing and international.
