Caldwell Consulting 

Relatively small M&E Consultancy Company based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In the last year the firm has successfully completed a wide range of projects include office, retail, residential, hotel, health care and process. 

In the last year it has successfully completed 133,425 sq ft of high end office accommodation, over 2,500 bedrooms of hotel accommodation and numerous projects. 10 Portman Square is a £49M high end office development. Lough Ryan Port is a £52M ferry terminal built on reclaimed land in Cairnryan Scotland. Moorefiled Hotel was constructed offsite as fully fitted pods with  3 months onsite build.

Clancy Consulting Limited

Clancy Consulting's Key achievements An on going commitment to training, including approved training schemes for CIBSE, IStructE and ICE. Renewal of our Investors in People accreditation. Operating a national apprenticeship scheme in conjunction with local universities and the Technical Apprenticeship Consortium (TAC). It currently has five apprentices of which four are female. 

Actively encouraging females into the industry is a key prioroty. The firm has also appointed BIM champions to disseminate information around the company and to allow integration into project delivery across all offices including overseas.

It achieved 15-20% organic growth in UK, and further growth overseas. The firm won the Infrastructure (Medium Firm) category of the ACE Centenary Engineering Excellence Awards 2013.

Crofton 

Crofton has invested considerable resources in developing our BIM capabilities; winning more projects in this area. It has taken on four apprentices, highlighting our commitment to the Technician Apprentice Consortium, and training the next generation of engineers as well as expanding its workforce by 25% in 2013.

Crofton was recognised as Kent’s SME of the year by the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce and has risen 15 places in the Building magazine Top 200 construction consultants’ list, spanning all disciplines nationwide. This is reflected in its rising turnover, which has averaged 18% growth each year for the past three years.

The firm is a leading provider of specialist services in sustainable building design and environmental engineering. Its twenty-five engineers have a proven track record of delivering innovative, bespoke and award-winning design solutions across a range of sectors.

Over the past year, the firm's projects have won a 2013 National RIBA award (Jerwood Gallery), the 2013 Public Building Architect of the Year award and was voted a top five building by The Telegraph (Ortus Maudsley Learning Centre. It gained five BREEAM sustainability ratings of ‘Excellent’. The firm has achieved ISO 9001 accreditation and is working towards ISO 14001 for environmental management.
