The firm's performance stands out as an SME acting as Lead Designer on a major infrastructure projects.

It has pioneered the use on BIM Level 2 as the norm for project delivery and its use of stainless steel filters embraces the concept of design for manufacture with offsite construction minimising waste and reducing Health and Safety risks.

It has integrated permanent works and temporary works designs on the backwash tank, and are active members of the Temporary Works Forum).

This year has seen it focus on developing its team to fulfil their potential - and was awarded Investors in People Gold at its first assessment (top 3% in the UK).

The firm won all three of the ICE North West Project Awards in 2013 for Utility Projects.

  • NATIONAL GRID LONDON POWER TUNNELS: design/risk management and construction supervision for the installation of transmission cables in 34km of tunnels to provide secure and resilient power infrastructure for London.
  • CLEANER SEAS FOR SUSSEX: engineering consultant and design/construction supervision for 11km of tunnel, 17 shafts, two pumping stations, a wastewater treatment works and a 2.5km sea outfall to enable daily treatment of 95 million litres of wastewater
  • COVENHAM-BOSTON PIPELINE: project feasibility studies and  design/environmental services for a 60km pipeline transferring 27 million litres per day of potable water.
