Senior Structural Technician - Nottingham
About the role
BWB Consulting has an exciting opportunity for Senior Structural Technician to be based in our Birmingham office.
What you will be doing
Due to continued success and growth, the Buildings & Built Environment Group have a vacancy for a Senior Structural Technician in our Nottingham Office.
Your contribution will help this ambitious and expanding team continue its success in winning and delivering a broad range of projects to a high standard.
Working on challenging and multiple projects simultaneously, you will be comfortable undertaking the production of project drawings and details using AutoCAD and Revit and other related software within a fast-paced, professional environment.
You will draw on your experience in a wide variety of structural materials and project types, and you must therefore have sound knowledge of structural detailing and experience in steelwork, concrete and general construction.

We have an established reputation for delivering high quality environmental and engineering consultancy services to corporate, industrial, development and financial clients across a variety of sectors.
About you
The successful individual will be able to demonstrate their ability to work to personally set deadlines, with little supervision. They will demonstrate strong communication and personal effectiveness skills, with the ability to maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
Pride in the quality and accuracy their work.
Whilst qualifications are important, skills and attributes such as problem-solving, communication, personal organization, team working skills and the ability to work under pressure are sought above all else.
A thorough knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD is essential and Revit is desirable.
A solid track record in pragmatic and technical detailing securing new and challenging projects and we’re looking for talented people to champion these.
