The Institution of Engineering and Technology has announced that it will publish a new code of practice for photovoltaic solar systems on 28th September, The guide will cover the design, specification, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of grid connected solar photovoltaic systems in the UK. Covering all scales of application  the guidance will cover system earthing, fault alarms, fusing, connectors and fire detection and align with relevant international standards.
